Lynn Dunne

Ashurst

2022 marked Lynn Dunne’s 10th year as an Ashurst partner and it was certainly a memorable one. Elected to a seat on the firm’s global board in September, Dunne has added new management responsibilities onto her existing roles as London office co-head and EMEA chief of Ashurst’s contentious financial services group. These see her put her mind to all sorts; she’s extolling the virtues of the office, working on high-stakes investigations, and leading on the expansion of Ashurst’s disputes and banks groups. Core to the firm’s strategy, these two areas are likely to hit the big time in 2023.

With additional expertise in contentious restructuring matters, Dunne’s practice has transitioned from handling purely financial misconduct cases to disputes across the board. She now liaises with her employment team on a growing area for Ashurst, advising senior managers and boards on allegations of bullying, sexual harassment and victimisation. With these potentially career-damaging cases for her clients comes great responsibility. Dunne takes it all in her stride.
