Watson Farley & Williams

What does good behaviour look like? That’s been a key question for Watson Farley & Williams’ newest leader Lindsey Keeble, who has been assessing this and countless other points during her first year as managing partner. Behaviour, as well as a real drive towards better collaboration, has been a feature of her ongoing review into the firm’s remuneration model, expected to be completed this year. WFW has been on quite the organisational overhaul recently, with lock-up improvements and growth in its business services functions forming part of a grander plan to professionalise the firm. Now focusing specifically on profitability metrics, Keeble is keen to move the firm on to the next level.

But among the wider projects around remuneration and profitability, there has also been a desire to improve access closer to home. WFW was one of a group of firms to sign up to the legal apprenticeship pledge in October, with plans already underway to obtain accreditation for 2024. Keeble is taking this traditional transport and energy shop into the next era.
