Walker Morris has announced that Craig Looker has joined as an associate in its pensions team. The announcement is the latest in a number of appointments to reinforce the team’s specialist expertise in high-value, complex pension matters to meet the growth in demand.

Craig joins the Walker Morris pensions team from Gordons LLP and has over seven years’ experience of advising on private and public sector pension schemes. He represents employers and pension scheme trustees on all aspects of pension law and regulation and has particular expertise in employer debt and sex equalisation issues in defined benefit schemes, as well as in pensions taxation.

Craig is well regarded within the pension community having been the secretary to the North East Association of Pension Lawyers for over five years and a regular contributor at speaker events and in the media.

Earlier this year the Team appointed pensions barrister Ruth Bamforth, also from Gordon’s, and announced the promotion of Jo Ratcliffe to head of the pensions teams.
