Football Association (FA) group legal director and company secretary Alistair MacClean is leaving the Football Association (FA) after 11 years at the helm.
The move comes as the organisation overhauls its senior management structure, by combining the group legal team and the professional game department. Darren Bailey, the current director of football governance and regulation, will head up the single function.
Maclean was the FA’s first group legal director and oversaw the restructuring of its legal function, as well as revamped its external legal panel.
He was previously a solicitor at Bird & Bird.
