Leading lawyers will decide whether there is still a place for the courts in commercial disputes in a debate at the Thames Valley Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators on Wednesday. Proposing the motion that there is no longer a place for the courts will be Derek Wood QC and solicitor and Arthur Marriot. Opposing will be Robert Akenhead QC and Professor Philip Capper.
