Ogier’s head of dispute resolution for Caribbean and Asia Rachael Reynolds is chairing the two-day Trusts in Litigation conference in Reykjavik over the next two days.

Rachael – who specialises in contentious trusts matters – will be co-chairing morning and afternoon sessions at the event, which is organised by Contra, the network for Contentious Trusts Associates and Junior Counsel.

Speakers from private practice, academia and the judiciary, from locations including Switzerland, London, Jersey and Bermuda will attend.

Sessions at the event at The Grand Hotel Reykjavik focus on asset protection, civil fraud and valuations in art and cultural property.

Rachael said: “Private wealth work, and the significant disputes arising from it, continue to be international and cross-border in nature so it makes sense to gather people from different sides of the industry and the leading jurisdictions to discuss the trends, challenges and developments we are seeing both onshore and offshore.”
