Conyers Dill & Pearman acted as Cayman Islands advisers to Creative China Holdings on its initial public offering and listing on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Creative China is a fast growing television and online broadcasting program content producer and event organiser in the PRC. Major events organised by Creative China include the Golden Rooster Awards and the People’s Hundred Flower Awards which are considered the most prestigious film awards in China. The share price on listing rose a remarkable 10 times attributed to interest in one of the cornerstone investors, mainland movie star Zhao Wei.

Christopher Bickley of Conyers’ Hong Kong office advised on the matter working alongside Stevenson, Wong & Co. and Jingtian & Gongcheng.
